Accurate, explicit formulae for higher harmonic force spectroscopy by frequency modulation-AFM

Abstract: The nonlinear interaction between an AFM tip and a sample gives rise to oscillations of the cantilever at integral multiples (harmonics) of the fundamental resonance frequency.
