“…In India, acid burns cases are becoming a major socioeconomic concern due to its immediate and long-term consequences on the affected person. In an observational study conducted by M. Singh et.al, on acid attack victims, they observed disfiguration of the face was seen in 100% of the victims, the ocular involvement was present in 78.8% of the cases, loss of hearing in 15.4% of cases, throat injuries in 9.6% of cases [5] .
