Ações do agente comunitário de saúde na perspectiva da prática interprofissional colaborativa

Abstract

The Community Health Agent (ACS) integrates a Family Health team (ESF), with the priority model of (re) organization of Primary Health Care (PHC) in the Brazilian context. The ACS is administered through the accompaniment of families of ascribed mothers, performing home visits, health promotion actions, disease prevention and health surveillance.The ACS is part of the collaborative interprofessional practice of the team, understood the need for collaboration in different areas, different services, working in a single direction, the end of offer quality improvement and access to health services. A research on women's collaborative skills, one of the fundamental stages is the identification of specific skills of each professional and a stage that precedes the formation of competencies in professional actions. Objective: To analyze the specific actions of ACS in the perspective of collaborative interprofessional practice. Methodology: The research used research data with the quantitative source, which mapped the actions of all the professionals that compose the FHT in Brazil, through a documentary analysis for the specific actions of each of the FHS professionals. The analysis of material reference in the public related to Zarifian (2003) and the typology of supplications specific, common and collaboratives, defined by Barr (1998). The results are a set of specific actions of the CHA organized in eight stages: health recovery, health promotion, prevention, permanent, education, documentation, care management, work process management and services and research and training. Results: A total of 97 CHA actions were classified as health recovery (12), health promotion (18), prevention (26), continuing education and continuing education (0), documentation (14), care management , work process management and services (11), research and training (0). There was a predominance of actions related to the axis of disease prevention, followed by actions of health promotion, care management and documentation. The lack of actions related to research and training stands out. When compared to the new Basic Attention Policy (BANP), it is observed that there is a redirection of the actions of the CHAs, increasingly focused on bureaucratic issues inside the units and the assistance actions related to the health recovery axis, which may compromise the proposal of the ESF, based on the integrality and longitudinality of care. There is also concern regarding the limitation of home visits by the ACS, distancing itself from the strategic role of the ESF related to the approximation and insertion in the territory. Final Considerations: It is concluded that although the documents analyzed bring predominantly the actions of prevention, promotion and management of care, with the changes in the scenario of Primary Health Care, through the new PNAB, there is a shift from ACS actions to care activities and bureaucratic. Studies such as this can help clarify professional roles in the context of collaborative interprofessional practice.
