Acoustic Interferometry and the Calibration Integral Equation Method for Inverse Heat Conduction

Abstract: This paper expands the recently proposed Calibration Integral Equation Method (CIEM) for resolving inverse heat conduction problems to include an alternative instrumentation scheme based on ultrasonic interferometry.
