Abstract: Epigenetic patterns including DNA methylation are known to vary between distantly related species, but it is not clear how these patterns differ at an intraspecific level. The sweetpotato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Aleyrodidae; Hemiptera), encompasses several cryptic species.
