Actions to Reduce Air Pollution From a Coal Thermal Power Plant

Abstract: The slag and the ash, resulted after the lignite burning in the boilers of Thermal Power Plant located at Timisoara South (Romania), are hydraulically evacuated at the storage facility for slag and ash near village Utvin. Fine ash from compartments of slag and ash deposits that are not covered by water can be driven by air currents, causing pollution.
