Activation of Human Dendritic Cells byp-Phenylenediamine

Abstract: Exposure to p-phenylenediamine (pPD), a primary intermediate in hair dye formulations, is often associated with the development of allergic contact dermatitis. Such reactions involve activation of the subject's immune system.
