Acute cholecystitis in the elderly: to operate or not?

Abstract: Background: Recent advances in robotic technology suggest that da Vinci Single-Site cholecystectomy (dVSSC) is safe, feasible and reduces the stress load of the surgeon compared to single-incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy (SILC).
