Abstract:Acute pyelonephritis (APN) is considered a rare cause of acute kidney injury (AKI), especially when no anatomical abnormalities or predisposing factors are identified. Additionally, non-obstructive pyelonephritis is a very infrequent cause of rapidly progressive acute kidney injury.
