Abstract:Acute hemorrhagic edema of infancy in a 9-month-old boy
This case report discusses the medical history of a 9-month-old boy with acute hemorrhagic edema of infancy (AHEI). AHEI is an acute cutaneous vasculitis that typically occurs in young children aged 4 to 24 months. Its clinical presentation is characterized by a low-graded fever, non-pitting edema and pronounced purpura.
