Abstract: Wind and solar photovoltaic (solar-PV) power are highly variable and intermittent as exhibited by corresponding generation profiles. When this power is utilized directly for water pumping, the availability and reliability of water automatically follow the Renewable Energy Sources (RES) characteristics.
