Abstract:In response to control issues in hypersonic vehicles under external disturbances, model uncertainties, and actuator failures, this paper proposes an adaptive fast smooth second-order sliding mode fault-tolerant control scheme. First, a system separation approach is adopted, dividing the hypersonic vehicle model into fast and slow loops for independent design. This ensures that the airflow angle tracking error and sliding mode variables converge to the vicinity of the origin within a finite time. A fixed-time d… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
