Adaptive hysteresis band control for converter with low output ripple and constant switching frequency

Abstract: This paper presents a new adaptive hysteresis band control (AHBC) technique for hysteresis DC-DC buck converter, which can adaptively adjust the hysteresis band according to input and output voltages. This technique was designed by PSIM. Simulation results show that the proposed AHBC has lower output ripple than the constant hysteresis window technique when output capacitance reduces.
