Adaptive Optical Scanning Holography

Abstract: Optical Scanning Holography (OSH) is a powerful technique that employs a single-pixel sensor and a row-by-row scanning mechanism to capture the hologram of a wide-view, three-dimensional object. However, the time required to acquire a hologram with OSH is rather lengthy. In this paper, we propose an enhanced framework, which is referred to as Adaptive OSH (AOSH), to shorten the holographic recording process. We have demonstrated that the AOSH method is capable of decreasing the acquisition time by up to an ord… Show more

“…[13] While lifetime is one of the most important factors of OLEDs to ensure practical utility, few studies have reported the design rules of long lifetime TADF emitters. [14,15] In terms of the molecular structure, stable chemical structures with high bond dissociation energy (BDE) under the positive and negative polarons are of crucial significance. For example, carbazole, benzonitrile, and triazine derived material designs can secure a high BDE.…”

“…For example, carbazole, benzonitrile, and triazine derived material designs can secure a high BDE. [14,15] Moreover, molecular designs that shorten the delayed fluorescence lifetime such as distorted structures and multi-donor structures are appropriate as the design strategy of long lifetime TADF emitters. [14,15,16] The same design principle can also be applied to control the efficiency roll-off at high brightness by minimizing DE ST and reducing the delayed fluorescence lifetime (> 5 ms) [4h,i] In this account, we describe recent developments of TADF emitters for high efficiency and long lifetime OLEDs.…”

“…This method, however, sacrifices the vertical resolution of the whole hologram. For this reason, Tsang et al proposed a novel technique called adaptive optical scanning holography (AOSH) [72]. As shown in Figure 7, in recording the jth row of the hologram, the row data r(j) together with the data from the previous row r(j − 1) stored in a line buffer are sent to the predictor.…”
