Adjuvant Techniques in Punch Graft Hair Transplantation

Abstract: The authors present a study of 150 patients treated for male pattern alopecia by autograft punch transplantation. Factors found to improve results were diminished epinephrine concentration, use of a template spacing device, tunnelling, lack of fat trimming, saline instillation for harvesting donor grafts, injection of long-acting anesthetics, and blend grafting.
