Adsorption of Aromatic Compounds from Solutions on Molecular Sieve 13X

Abstract: Measurements of the equilibrium extent of adsorption of individual aromatic hydrocarbons: mono, di, trinuclear aromatic and heterocyclo compounds from iso-octane solutions by molecular sieves 13X were carried out at 303 and 343 K and at concentrations up to 5 wt.% The limiting values of adsorption were essentially determined by using modified Brunauer-Emmett-Teller equation (BET).
