Advanced Fixed Relaying in Multihop Based Cellular Networks

Abstract: Relaying has been proven to improve coverage and capacity in wireless cellular networks. In this work, we study the effect of three enhancement techniques on the performance of fixed relays in multihop based cellular networks. First, multiuser detection is used to cancel part of the interference at the relays coming from neighboring nodes.
