“…First, the XRD results indicate that Li-BCP powders with different lithium contents were successfully prepared. According to previous studies, the main peak of lithium-doped HA show shifts slightly toward right compared to HA (Padmanabhan et al, 2019) and lithium-doped β-TCP rarely changed in the XRD graph (Matsumoto et al, 2010). In this study, the main peak of the β-TCP phase moved toward a lower angle owing to the increase in the crystal space with the addition of lithium content (Matsumoto et al, 2010).…”

“…To date, the antiviral activity of Li in different viruses (including porcine epidemic diarrhea, pseudorabies herpesvirus, Orthoreoviruses, and Coxsackievirus B3 virus) has been proved [ 193 , 194 , 195 , 196 ]. Additionally, its antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria (including Porphyromonas gingivalis , Francisella tularensis , Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans , Klebsiella pneumoniae , Escherichia coli , Burkholderia pseudomallei , and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ) and Gram-positive bacteria (including Streptococcus pneumoniae , Streptococcus mutans , and Staphylococcus aureus ) has been reported [ 197 , 198 , 199 , 200 , 201 , 202 ]. A summary of the biological effects of Li and the relation between these effects and autophagy is presented in Figure 5 .…”

“…Nanotechnology has successfully introduced nanoadsorbents for wastewater treatment, which has emerged as an enormous growing and enthralling area of interest (Förstner and Wittmann 1985). Generally, nanotechnology is related to the creation, processing, characterization and application of materials at the nanoscale (1-100 nm) in diverse areas (Biswas et al 2017(Biswas et al , 2019Mamalis 2007;Stander and Theodore 2011;Padmanabhan et al 2019;Golieskardi et al 2019;Ragurajan et al 2018;Rangari et al 2017Rangari et al , 2019Nuge et al 2020). Nanomaterials own exceptional properties, which are absent in their corresponding bulk materials.…”
