Advanced quantitative magnetic resonance imaging of lower extremity muscle microtrauma after marathon: a mini review

Abstract: This article reviews the existing literature and outlines recent advances in quantitative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques for the assessment of lower extremity muscle microtrauma following a marathon.
