“…Hydrogels also plays a role as carriers for antimicrobial agents and contribute to infection control (Samuel & Gould, 2009). More over the incorporation of hydrogels leads to controlled antibiotic release, there for overcoming challenges associated with systemic administration (Zheng et al, 2023). In order to ensure overall effectiveness it is important to regulate their mechanical properties to ensure that there is stability in the joint environment and to bring about the desired drug release kinetics .…”

“…As a kind of three-dimensional polymer network with high water content, the hydrogel is one of the most popular soft materials in recent years. Due to satisfactory biocompatibility and injectability, good biological soft tissue similarity, and excellent self-healing properties, hydrogels have been widely used in different biomedical fields, such as wound hemostasis, skin healing, drug delivery, tissue reconstruction, etc. As is known, the oral environment is always humid and is constantly in motion due to eating and talking. Therefore, besides good biocompatibility and antibacterial properties, functional hydrogels for the mouth also need to have good mechanical strength, wet adhesion, antifatigue properties, etc.…”

“…In the 1990s, two significant developments occurred in the field of sizing rate measurement. First, Zheng et al [39,40] developed a domestically produced online sizing rate measurement system based on microwave detection. The system's measuring head, composed of a microwave transmission and reception device, employs an amplitude measurement method.…”
