Scholars have viewed Agile Project Management APM as a prominent solution for software and nonsoftware innovative institutions to cope with its unstable environment. APM has been tested in the software field and proven to be successful. Since 2015, there is ongoing war in Yemen that negatively affects most sectors including the business and microfinance sectors. Social Fund for Development SFD, the microfinance industry leader in Yemen, sought solutions for enhancing the Microfinance Institutions MFIs capabilities during the current environment turbulence. This research investigates any possible advantages in adopting APM in the microfinance sector, out of software domain. A qualitative method was used to conduct the research. three microfinance pioneers were selected and 11 professionals from all management levels were interviewed. In addition, three workshop discussions with 22 members of product development teams were held. The study found that adopting APM would help these MFIs to enhance their resilience by bridging the identified gaps and challenges.

Digital Transformation and social media have influenced retail advertising and created new forms of commerce, consumers are constantly accessing Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as well as various applications to make immediate product purchase decisions. In this market scenario where consumer interaction and immediacy became important items to be considered by fashion brands, the "See Now Buy Now" (SNBN) business model emerges as a response to this new market. This change, where the product is available for sale right after the runway show and collections launch, causes alterations in supply chain planning and the whole process of new product development, requiring a more flexible and adapted NPD (new product development) with new processes and timelines. Thus, this article aims to propose a holistic, hypothetical and sustainable NPD model based on the Agile Stage-Gate theory, within the SNBN theme, with the interaction of the lead user as the process development metric.

Establishing production environments requires joint decisionmaking by stakeholders from many disciplines at different levels of aggregation, because of the significant, unpredictable, and risky investments involved. Pilot plants offer a platform to develop, test, improve, and upscale (parts of) a production environment. They consist of physical and virtual components that are integrated, based on the digital twin concept. This concept synthesises sensoring/measurement (in situ and ex situ) with the modelling and simulation of existing and evolving resources/processes at operational, tactical, and strategic levels. Virtual dashboards supplement the pilot plant to provide an insightful basis for decision-making for all the perspectives and stakeholders involved. OPSOMMING Om produksie-omgewings te ontwikkel, vereis gesamentlike besluitneming deur belanghebbendes uit baie dissiplines op verskillende vlakke van aggregasie, weens die beduidende, onvoorspelbare, en riskante beleggings betrokke. Proeffabrieke bied 'n platform om (dele van) 'n produksie omgewing te ontwikkel, te toets, te verbeter, en op te skaleer. Hulle bestaan uit fisiese en virtuele komponente wat geïntegreer is gebaseer op die digitale tweeling konsep. Hierdie konsep verskaf waarnemings/metings (in situ en ex situ) met modellering en simulasie van bestaande en nuwe hulpbronne/prosesse op operasionele, taktiese, en strategiese vlakke.
