Abstract:In the article, clinical experience of surgical treatment of 239 patients with complex segmental (segmental type C2) and complex irregular (irregular type C3 according to the AO classification) diaphysial fractures of tibia is studied. 215 (89.9 %) patients had Ilizarov’s external fixator and 24 (10.1 %) patients had blocked intramedullary nailing.
