All-optical simultaneous OR and AND optical logic gates based on nonlinear photonic crystal ring resonator

Abstract: An all-optical simultaneous OR and AND logic gates using the nonlinear Kerr effect and ring resonator based on a two-dimensional photonic crystal are proposed in this paper. The proposed structure has a resonant wavelength of 1551.3 nm and a power consumption (1 kW/μm2).
