Allosteric Regulation of Proton Translocation by a Vacuolar Adenosinetriphosphatase

Abstract: The kinetics of nucleoside-triphosphate-dependent proton translocation by a vacuolar-type adenosinetriphosphatase have been studied, using the enzyme from bovine chromaffin-granule membranes, purified and reconstituted into proteoliposomes.
