Alpha-therapy using radium-223 chloride in patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer. From clinical researches to routine practice

Abstract: Castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) has a very negative prognosis. The average life expectancy even using modern treatment methods is 1.5–2 years. When the majority of CRPC patients show signs of resistance to therapy aimed at lowering testosterone levels, distant metastases are often determined in the bones.
