Alteration of Hematological and Immunological Parameters in Rabbits Treated with Parathion

Abstract: Background: Organophosphorus compounds (OP's) increase endogenous acetylcholine levels by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase. Their suppression of the immune responses might be due to direct action of acetylcholine on the immune system.
