Altered function of the left ventricle and clinical significance of heart‑type fatty acid‑binding protein in cardiac dysfunction among patients with sepsis

Abstract: The present study aimed to determine the clinical significance of heart-type fatty acid-binding protein (H-FABP) in patients with sepsis-induced cardiac dysfunction. A total of 30 healthy subjects served as the control group and 80 patients with sepsis were recruited for the present single-center prospective observational study for the final analysis.
