Ul As a result of these circumstances many people felt that farmers were in a position of serious disparity with indus trial groups. Purchasing power of farm goods fell. On a 1913 lu. S. Department of Agriculture. The Yearbook of Agri culture-1922: 960. 1923. ^This is verified by figures which show that between 1929 and 1933, in the depression, wholesale prices of agricultural products dropped 63$, while industrial prices decreased only 20$.
