Abstract:The Polypropylene Glycol (PPG) Butyl Ethers function as skin-and hair-conditioning agents in cosmetics. Intestinal absorption of the PPG Butyl Ethers was inversely proportional to the molecular weight. In general, the toxicity of the PPG Butyl Ethers decreased as the molecular weight increased.
