Amorphous 1-propanol in interstellar ices – crystallization revisited

Abstract: A recent publication described laboratory measurements of infrared spectra of solid 1-propanol, a likely interstellar ice component. The authors concluded that amorphous 1-propanol does not produce crystalline 1-propanol on warming and that 1-propanol remains as a solid far above its melting point.
