An Accelerated Method to Measure the Swelling Behaviour of Caprock (Shale) in Steam Stimulation Process

Abstract: Shale formations are used to serve as hydraulic and thermal barriers in steam stimulated processes such as steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) and cyclic steam stimulation (CSS).
