The paper discusses a hybrid renewable energy system feeding a variable load in islanded DC-microgrid. The energy management system has been designed to feed load without the need for a load prediction algorithm. The proposed hybrid system consists of two renewable power sources i.e. Solar Photovoltaic, and Fuel cell, and hybrid energy storage devices in the form of a Li-ion battery, Supercapacitor, and an Electrolyzer-hydrogen tank. The system has been modeled on MATLAB Simulink using the library components. The simulation results have been verified by logical analysis. The final steady state DC bus voltage has been controlled within 5 % of the reference value upon the solar variation of 50 % and load variation of 50 % of the rated value.. . .
