“…alienata is clearly different from T. cati, and T. canis and T. vitulorum which are the only species in this genus reported in North America. It is evident that of the 15 species in Toxocara listed by MAUNG (1975), T. alienata in most respects resembles T. suricattae from African civets, but even more closely it resembles species occurring in rodents, especially T. mackerrasae in South East Asia and Australia. From this species it appears to differ only in having smaller eggs with smaller pits.…”
