Abstract:Haloferax mediterranei archaea has been utilized to biosynthesize Poly(3‐hydroxybutyrate‐co‐3‐hydroxyvalerate) (PHBV) polyester from date waste as carbon source. The produced biopolymer has been composited with different percentages (1 %, 3 %, 5 % and 10 %) of a hybrid filler based on 1 : 1 carboxylated multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (CMWCNTs) and graphene nanoplates (GNPts). The synthesized bionanocomposites PHBV/(CMWCNTs‐GNPts)(1,3,5,10%) have been characterized by FTIR, TGA, XRD, SEM and EDX. In addition, th… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
