An efficient computation of the electromagnetic mutual coupling between two aperture antennas

Abstract

In the proposed paper we deal with the problem of the numerical evaluation of the coupling among the electromagnetic fields eenerated by two aperture antennas. h e used theoretical method has been based on the plane wave scattering theory, leading to a very efficient formula for the evalutation of the electromagnetic coupling coefficient.Numerical computed examples are shown for the particular cases of the electromagnetic coupling between two (rectangular/circular) aperture radiators.
