Abstract:Peripheral neuropathy is an acute disorder in diabetic patients who are suffering a very agonized pain in their peripheral nerves. Symptomatic relief can be achieved by some analgesic pain killers. One of the best approaches is using an electrical stimulation method where the sensory nerve fibers get excited by the application of pulsed currents at the site of pain.
