An Empirical Analysis on the Market Structure of the Industry of Western China

Abstract

With the industrial organization theory, this paper makes an empirical analysis on the structure of the industries of Western China by concentration ratios, economies of scale and barriers to entry and exit. Based on these, this paper comes to the conclusion that the structure of the industries of Western China is immoderate.
