An Empirical Study between Regional Economic Development and the Distribution of Credit Quota in China

Abstract: The relationship between regional economical development and credit quota was studied in this paper, based on officially published data of China's 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous, by using unit root test, cointegration test, Granger causality test, and panel data model. It is evident that a long-term stable balance does exist between regional GDP and its credit quota, and further more, credit quota is a Granger cause of GDP growth.
