This survey study reports findings on information technology and artificial intelligence among two types of youth: youth aged 15–30 and youth aged 31–40 in Selangor, Malaysia. Data were collected from 1000 youth from 9 districts of Selangor (Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat, Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Sabak Bernam, Klang, and Sepang). The study findings for information technology and artificial intelligence show eleven items. As expected, overall respondents from youth categories recorded the highest mean score of 4.04, and the youth adult mean score is 3.99. In conclusion, the digital age presents both opportunities and challenges for youth in Selangor, Malaysia. Understanding the implications of information technology and artificial intelligence on youth is crucial for promoting their well-being and harnessing the benefits of digital advancements in education, health, and social interactions
