An EU Citizenship Approach

Abstract

EU citizens who reside in a Member State of which they are not a national can also find themselves without legal residence status and, in some cases, be deported to their country of origin. Interestingly, the term ‘irregular’ or ‘irregularity’ is not used by the Commission to define such situations.
