An immunohistochemical study of abnormal keratinocyte proliferation in molluscum contagiosum

Abstract

These results indicate that molluscum contagiosum lesions exhibit an increased proliferation rate of keratinocytes, which is likely to be partially counteracted by accumulation of p53.
