An Integrated Approach for Probabilistic Assessment of Ionized Fields of HVDC Lines

Abstract: An integrated statistical approach, based on Monte Carlo simulation, is developed in this paper for probabilistic exposure assessment under HVDC transmission lines. The validity and adequacy of traditional, deterministic, models for HVDC ionized fields have been repeatedly questioned in literature.
