Abstract:An intensity-demodulated fiber-optic magnetometer is proposed and experimentally investigated, which is fabricated via fusion splicing a segment of photonic crystal fiber (PCF) between single-mode fibers (SMFs), with the cladding air holes of PCF filled with magnetic fluid.
