An investigation on the in vitro wound healing activity and phytochemical composition of Hypericum pseudolaeve Robson growing in Turkey

Abstract: GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Bu çalışma, Hypericum pseudolaeve Robson türünün iki farklı yöntemle elde edilmiş metanol ve su ekstrelerinin in vitro yara iyileştirici etkisi ile sitotoksisitesi, antioksidan aktivitesi ve seçilmiş fitokimyasallarını araştırmayı amaçlamıştır. YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Toplam fenolik ve flavonoit içerikleri spektrofotometri tabanlı yöntemler kullanılarak ölçülmüştür. Ekstrelerin L929 fare fibroblast hücreleri üzerindeki sitotoksik etkileri MTT deneyi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca, bitki uygulanmış … Show more

“…Antibacterial activities are ascribed to various compounds, not only hypericin and hyperforin (Damlar et al, 2017). The antimicrobial activities of purified terpenes and phenolic compounds corroborate with those of the early reports against bacteria and fungi (İğci & Aytaç, 2020). Avato et al (2004) highlighted the ethyl acetate fraction as the most active extract, containing primary ingredients hypericin and hyperforin.…”
