Abstract:Application of stable isotopically labelled (SIL) molecules in Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Mass Spectrometry Imaging (MALDI-MSI) over a series of time points allows the temporal and spatial dynamics of biochemical reactions to be tracked in a biological system. However, these large kinetic MSI datasets and the inherent variability of biological replicates presents significant challenges to the rapid analysis of the data. In addition, manual annotation of downstream SIL metabolites involves huma… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
