Abstract:Background:
Obesity, insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes mellitus are all on the rise, and they are all significant risk factors for ischemic heart disease (IHD). The prevalence of risk factors for IHD is quickly growing in developing countries as a result of urbanization. Large rises in IHD are observed around the world, and IHD has overtaken cancer as the leading cause of death after 2020.
