An open‐label prospective study to assess short incubation time white LED light photodynamic therapy in the treatment of superficial basal cell carcinoma

Abstract: The incidence of basal cell carcinoma and other keratinocyte cancers is increasing worldwide. 1,2 Topical methyl 5-aminolaevulinic acid (MAL) photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a popular treatment for superficial basal cell carcinoma (sBCC) due to the excellent cosmetic outcomes and lack of serious adverse events.
