Abstract:The equivalent filter response in the simultaneous photonic filtering and digitizing system is determined by the temporal precision and duration time of optical pulses. To achieve narrow-bandwidth filter response at high central frequency, a pulse shaping scheme based on the time-frequency mapping and attenuation-delay coupling is presented. The effect introduced by attenuation-delay coupling is derived, and the method to search optimized parameters for target bandwidth, off-band suppression and central freque… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
