Through this file it can be determined whether a particular chemical is stocked, how much of any chemical is at present in stock, which items need to be reordered because stocks have fallen below a predetermined limit, etc. The fields used are:1) Compound Number (allocated by stores for easy reference) 2) Compound Name 3) Phase (gas, liquid or solid at room temperature) 4) Present Stock 5) Minimum Stock (to prompt reordering) 6) Supplier
