“…In fact, several psychometric studies around the world have reported evidence of validity and reliability similar to the one originally reported by Sternberg (1997). For instance, in Latin America, STLS has been validated in some countries including, Mexico (Mazadiego & Norberto, 2011), Brazil (Cassepp-Borges & Pasquali, 2012Cassepp-Borges & Teodoro, 2007;Hernández, 1999) and Peru (Ventura-León & Caycho-Rodríguez, 2016) although recently it has been suggested that the structure of the 45-item STLS is very complex when compared with other reduced versions STLS-R (Evangelho, 2016). In fact, many items of the original version load in more than one factor, so when they are removed it is possible to keep a fair level of precision in STLS-R with Cronbach's alpha index above .85 (Cassepp-Borges & Pasquali, 2014).…”

“…si se hallan entre 0.5 a 0.59 son considerados pobres; si el resultado se ubica entre 0.6 a 0.79, se determinan como regulares, y de 0.8 a 1 se observan como meritorios (Méndez y Rondón, 2012;Ventura y Caycho, 2016).…”

“…Rodríguez, Resett, Grinóvero and Moreno (2015), in Paraná, Entre Ríos province, Argentina, conducted a study regarding Friendship (Resett et al, 2013, Spanish version of a 1994 friendship qualities scale) and concluded that the instrument has good properties for the measurement of friendship quality, given the factorial structure similar to that postulated by the author of the instrument, acceptable internal consistencies for the different sub-scales and convergent validity of the same and establish that the scale used is a valid and reliable instrument to measure the quality of friendship in Argentina. Ventura and Caycho (2016) studied the psychometric properties of Sternberg's (1986) triangular love scale (ETAS) in university students in Lima, Peru, with the purpose of increasing scientific information in the study of love and providing a reliable and valid measurement instrument for its use. It was concluded that the ETAS has adequate psychometric properties, which allow it to be considered as a valid and reliable measure that can be used in future research as an instrument for assessing love, taking into consideration three factors that make up this construct.…”
